The Sariska
Palace stands proud of its royal and historic origins.
The palace, designed by a French architect in 1892, was
built under the patronage of Maharaja Jai Singh of Alwar
to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoris's son, the
Duke of Connaught.
Its glorious past as the Royal Hunting Lodge lends
itself perfectly to its present as a luxurious Heritage
hotel.
The Palace itself, fully restored, is an interesting
melange of old world hospitality and modern comfort.
Surrounded by rich and colourful traditions, visitors to
the palace are gauranteed an experience full of
intriguing sights, sounds and smells. The ruins of many
ancient cities that lie close by make interesting
excursions. remains of old monuments, historic temples,
Buddhist and jain Sculptures stand as reminders to
Rajasthan's checkered past.

Each of its 101 room is furnished with Regency Victorian
furniture to keep with its architecture that combines
the best of Indian and European styles. Great care has
been taken to ensure that the Palace has retained all of
its regal charm so that its guest can experience the
times of Maharajas and Raj.
